No matter what your trenching job may call for, we have just the product to handle the task. Equipped with the sheer force of Catepillar engines at 540 hp, 300, or 150 horsepower, our trenching machines are manufactured to be the most powerful and reliable in its class.

All of our trenchers utilize a hydrostatic power transmission. The force is variably displaced to both the hydraulic piston pumps to drive the crawler track motors, and the trenching wheel. This system of transmission gives the wheel a very high torque, allowing the wheel to trench at depths of 61 inches and more.

We will provide you with the best trenching tool for your particular construction needs. The largest of the wheels, the TR 250, can trench to depths up to 61 inches and a width of 10-14 inches. Various transferable and rotational guides ensure that the tool is correctly positioned in relation to the ground. The lateral offset mechanism with a hydraulic jack enables the tool to be moved right or left of center, up to the full width of the trench or 96 inches. This permits the machine to continuously sustain an evenly cut trench in the tightest of situations. The tilt correction mechanism enables the wheel to be tilted up to 14 degrees on each side, permitting it to dig vertical trenches on sloping ground.

The RIV 500 TR 250 is the most powerful and efficient machine in its class. This 28 ton machine is ideal for trenching through extremely hard rock where many trenchers are inadequate. It is also perfect for soft soil and mixed conditions where the job calls for depths of up to 61 inches in the laying of numerous cables, ducts, or pipe. The peripheral placement of the two motors powering the tool concentrates the torque and energy on the outside of the wheel, where the real force is needed to cut through rock. The suspended cab is mounted on a B5 type crawler track, enabling the machine to traverse challenging terrain. Seeing is believing! The RIV 300 TR 130 is the smaller of the trenching machines we offer. This 14 ton machine is ideal for trenching in tight areas, such as along side a thin stretch of highway. It is especially useful for laying of drainage pipe or duct, where the depth need only be around 40 inches. The suspended cab is mounted on a smaller B2 type crawler track, enabling the machine to move more easily in confined spaces. 	The RIV 150 TR 100 is also known as the Railroad Trencher. This 9 ton machine is ideal for trenching up to 34 inches depth along side railroad tracks and in other tight conditions. With a width of only 3 feet, a train can pass by and there is no need to move the machine. This saves you a lot of down time usually spent moving the machine to a safe distance in accordance with the train schedule.
